Really good day at Waterstones Aylesbury for my book signing today. I have been invited back to the branch later in the year for another signing, and will take them up on their offer. Thanks you. Next event Saturday 12 May at Waterstones Aylesbury between 11am and 3pm come along and meet me and I will sign your book. Still getting great reviews on Amazon thank you all my reader, its unbelievable and totally surreal.

Got my first royalty payment today yippee. I won't be buying the Aston Martin this week but from little acorns do big oaks grow.

A Turnkey or Not?

Come on America! Wake up and have a read of my book. I am sure there is some very clever person out there who can see the potential for a comedy film or series, similar to the British classic TV comedy series 'Porridge'.

I can just see it Christian Slater plays me and Julia Roberts plays my wife, with cameo comedy appearances from Ben Stiller, Eddie Murphy, Arsenio Hall, Mel Gibson, Robin Williams, Robert de Niro etc.

Or just read it and find out what it is like in the British Prison System compared to the American system with you having guns for protection and order, and us having a ............. whistle.

Waterstones in Aylesbury now have a stock of my book A Turnkey or Not? ready for my book signing event on 5 May 2012. This is Cup Final day, but you will be able to come and see me and buy my book and still get home in time to watch the cup final on television. If the match is bad you can then read my book instead.

Up early getting ready to go off to Waterstones in Hitchin for my book signing, might be a long lonely day but hey my book is out there and I have achieved more than I ever thought, more than most could have dreamed so am pretty proud of myself.
So up yours all you jealous types, get off your own arse and try to achieve something you can be proud of achieving.

Yup the book is still going strong but really need the American market to buy it and try it?

Come on this is British life as you will never see it portrayed in the movies, a real person telling a real story!

I want Meryl Streep to play my wife when my book becomes a Hollywood film and Pierce Brosnan can play me!!!!

A Turnkey or Not?

I have found out that my book has now sold copies in New Zealand, Thailand, Canada and also here in the UK. My thanks go to all five reviewers who posted their personal reviews on Amazon and everybody else who enjoyed the book.


My wife has now read the completed book and told me she was upset and sad at the end and had a tear in her eye as she never realised who disillusioned with my job I had become. 


So the book works it makes you laugh it makes you cry and its like being in a room with me as I tell my story over a cup of tea or glass of wine.


I am so pleased with the outcome, who cares if I never make money out of it. I don't.

I have just been on live radio with BBC 3Counties on the JVS show and really enjoyed the phone in part but the time went much too quickly;y would love to go back and continue the debate and some future time.
